STAMP OF THE MONTHG171 STARS & SWIRLS America Stamps G171 Stars & Swirls E348 America E345 Happy 4th Paper and Ink Deep Red Cardstock Cream Cardstock Cream Vellum Gold Ink Pad Versamark Ink Pad Other Gold Embossing Powder Rectangular Punch Foam Tape Ribbon 1. Cut 4-1/4 x 6-3/4 piece of deep red cardstock. Fold so that front flap measures 4-1/4 x 3-1/8. 2. Stamp inside bottom of card with G171 Stars & Swirls using gold ink. Stamp E345 Happy 4th above G171 Stars & Swirls using gold ink. 3. Cut cream vellum to 4 x 3-1/8. Stamp G171 Stars & Swirls on top half using Versamark ink pad, emboss with gold embossing powder and heat set. Stamp E348 America, masking off the right star, and emboss is before. 4. Cut cream cardstock to 4 x 3-1/8. Place the vellum on top of the cream cardstock and punch 4 holes across top. Weave ribbon across top as desired. 5. Mount to card base using foam tape. Cut envelope from Navy Blue cardstock using envelope template. Fold as directed. Stamp envelope back with G171 Stars & Swirls using Memories white ink. 2. Cut 2-3/4 x 2-1/4 piece of white cardstock, stamp G172 Apple Basket, emboss with clear embossing powder and heat set. Color as desired and layer to piece of deep red cardstock. Layer to envelope. 3. Cut 3-7/8 x 3/4 piece of white cardstock, stamp E348 America using Marvy Crimson Lake ink and mount to envelope using foam tape. Cut 9 x 6-1/2 piece of navy blue cardstock and hold in half for card base. 2. Cut piece of Stars & Stripes paper to 4-1/4 x 6-1/4 and layer to card base. 3. Cut 3 x 2-1/2 piece of navy blue cardstock, stamp G171 Stars & Swirls using Versamark, emboss with gold embossing powder, and heat set. Layer on to cream cardstock and layer to card base. 4. Stamp E343 Rocket Mouse on cream cardstock using ColorBox black ink, emboss with clear embossing powder and heat set. Color as desired, trim, glitter and mount to G171 Stars & Swirls using foam tape. 5. Cut 2 x 2-1/8 piece of cream cardstock. Stamp E345 Happy 4th using black ink pad, color and glitter as desired. Layer to blue cardstock and mount to card base using foam tape. 6. Cut 1-3/4 x 1-3/4 piece of cream cardstock and cut in half to create triangle. Stamp C279 Firecrackers using black ink, color and glitter, and layer to bottom left corner of Stars & Stripes paper. I Pledge Allegiance . . . Cut and fold 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 piece of white cardstock in half making 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 card base. 2. Cut 4.5-1/4 piece of navy blue cardstock. Stamp G171 Stars & Swirls using Memories White ink pad as desired and layer to card base. 3. Cut 3-1/4 x 2-3/4 piece of white cardstock. Using stipple brush, apply red Radiant Pearls to stripes of Flag and blue Radiant Pearls to stars of H104 Brushed Flag. Stamp and emboss using clear embossing powder and heat set. Punch holes at top and bottom of H104 Brushed Flag and insert craft stick. Layer on to deep red cardstock and then to card base. 4. On white cardstock, stamp D259 Allegiance . . . using Marvy crimson lake ink, layer to deep red cardstock and layer to card base. 5. Cut 1-3/4 x 2-1/4 piece of white cardstock. Stamp E344 Patriotic Mouse using ColorBox black ink, embossing using clear embossing powder and heat set. Color and glitter as desired. Layer to deep red cardstock. Mount to card base using foam tape. Cut 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 piece of white cardstock and fold in half for card base. 2. Cut 4 strips of embossing tape 4-1/4 x 7/8. Apply to front of card base evenly to form stripes, peel top paper away and apply Garnet glitter. 3. Cut 2-1/8 x 5-1/2 piece of navy blue cardstock. Stamp G171 Stars & Swirls with silver ink pad. Layer to left side of card base. 4. Cut 4 x 3 piece of white cardstock stamp H105 Old Glory using ColorBox black ink, emboss using clear embossing powder, and heat set. Color as desired. Stamp G171 Stars & Swirls around outer edge using ColorBox smoke blue ink pad and emboss as above. Glitter, trim with deckle scissors and mount to card base. 5. Cut 3-7/8 x 3/4 piece of white cardstock, stamp E348 America using pale blue ink pad, emboss using clear embossing powder and heat set. Mount to card base using foam tape. Stamp E347 Stars & Stripes Forever using Marvy crimson lake ink in the center. Stamp G171 Stars & Swirls at top and bottom using Marvy Prussian blue ink. Layer to card base. 3. Cut 2-1/4 x 3-1/8 piece of white cardstock, stamp E346 Stars & Stripes Ornament using ColorBox black ink, emboss using clear embossing powder and heat set. Color as desired and layer to piece of silver cardstock, followed by a piece of blue cardstock, and layer to card base. 4. Attach bow with curly ribbon.
